The British Foreign Office announced on Tuesday that it had summoned the Iranian ambassador.
The Foreign Office stated that the summons was in response to what it described as unacceptable and inflammatory comments posted by the Iranian embassy on social media.
The British Foreign Office said: “The Iranian embassy must cease all forms of communication that could incite violence in Britain or internationally.”
