Emirates Airline has announced the successful completion of the first installation of its Starlink satellite internet system on board its Airbus A380 aircraft, a move aimed at revolutionizing the in-flight connectivity experience.
The aircraft will utilize three state-of-the-art, next-generation antennas, enabling significantly faster internet speeds that can match or even surpass home internet speeds, even while flying at an altitude of 40,000 feet.
According to a statement issued by the airline, the first Airbus A380 equipped with Starlink service returned to Dubai this week, following the completion of installation and certification in Newquay, UK.
