    The President of the UAE and the King of Bahrain discuss strengthening joint cooperation.

    Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, met on Wednesday with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, who is currently visiting the UAE. The meeting was also attended by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chief of the Presidential Court.

    According to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), the two leaders exchanged cordial greetings during the meeting, reflecting the deep fraternal ties that bind the two countries and their brotherly peoples.

    During the meeting, the two sides discussed various aspects of cooperation and joint work between their countries, expressing their mutual commitment to strengthening these ties in a way that serves their development priorities and shared interests, ultimately benefiting their brotherly peoples.

    They also exchanged views on a number of issues and topics of common interest.

    The meeting was attended by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chief of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to the President of the UAE, and several other officials.

    Also present was Lieutenant General Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, Secretary-General of the Supreme Defence Council, and Commander of the Bahraini Royal Guard.
